Not totally sold on some of the writing (mainly the plot elements), but the character development was fantastic here. Laya’s acting was really raw and believable, I think. I’m really glad she finally called Franky out for her bs b/c that was really getting on my nerves. Skins was in its prime in terms of cinematography and music, as well (did I hear a Zola Jesus song again this episode? I’m pretty sure yes. 100%). I also think they did the closure of Grace’s death arc pretty well. While idk that it’ll ever match series 1 again, Skins is slowly coming back from the hot mess it was at the beginning of the series which is really quite nice.

Also can I just say that that scene where Alex meets Matty was the best thing ever? Yeah, best thing ever.
