so basically I’ve been thinking about events in the future instead - JSA Winter Congress, Spring Break, college notifications, Prom (oh, Prom), and Graduation in particular.

Last night I actually dreamt about April 1st. Seriously the waiting has been killing me. Out of all of my close friends, only one is also stuck in this “yet-to-be-accepted-anywhere” purgatory - and he gets out of it before I do. #firstworldproblems

Anyway, for the past few hours I’ve spent obsessing about Prom - going through Prom dress catalogs online, speculating over this year’s venue, watching Disney Prom… the works, ya know? For the past few months I’ve been eyeing this dress to custom order in champagne w/o the train, but I’m still weary of buying online through a company completely based in China (customer service must be a nightmare!). But it’s the only dress I’ve found that meets my qualifications and although it’s expensive, I guess it’s not exorbitantly priced. However, getting my mom to agree to let me buy it might be an issue. How much would you say is a reasonable price for a Prom dress anyway?
